How to Apply
To apply to host an Administrator Intern:
1.Go to the Municipal Grants Web Portal www.municipalaffairs.alberta.ca/municipalgrants.cfm.
2.Select “Programs that Support the Viability and Long-Term Sustainability of Municipalities” on the left side of the page.
3.Scroll down the page and select #5 Regional Collaboration Program.
4.Information for the Municipal Internship Program is on the right side of the page. Under Documents, first read Application Guidelines. On page 13 of the Guidelines at the bottom of the page it lists the parts of the application that you need to fill out.
5. Application Form 1 is located below the Application Guidelines.
6. Save the application form electronically. Email it to rcp.grant@gov.ab.ca or you can print it and fax or mail to the address below.
**Please contact us if you have any problems while filling in the application form.**
**Note regarding Council Resolutions: A council resolution is only required if you are formally collaborating with one or more municipalities to host an intern. All partners in the collaboration must have council resolutions in place noting who will be the managing partner for the project. The resolutions do not need to be submitted to Municipal Affairs. See page 12 of the Application Guidelines for further detail.**
