The 2010/11 Municipal Preferences List will be posted here in December 2009. This list lets you indicate which municipalities you would like your application sent to (i.e. where you are interested in being an intern). Print or scan the Preferences List, indicate your selections, sign and return it as part of your application package by mail or email. 

You are strongly encouraged to research each host municipality you are interested in.  Only select the municipalities that you would be willing to move to.  Research such things as: size of municipality, location, nearby amenities, housing availability and prices, etc.  A short profile of each host municipalitiy will be developed to start you on your research. To help you in your research, a link to each municipality's webpage is provided on the municipal preferences list or you may also visit www.municipalaffairs.alberta.ca/mc_boundary_maps.cfm. 

Note: The host municipalities you select do not affect whether or not your application is short-listed as there is no maximum number of applications that are sent to any one of the hosts. If your application is short-listed it will be sent to those hosts you have selected.
