The Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) hears appeals from municipal subdivision and development authorities. SDAB decisions shape the community and affect the lives of developers, neighbours, citizens and businesses. It is important that the public have confidence in the quality of these decisions and the decision-making process.

A subdivision and development appeal board training manual was prepared and used to deliver a series of workshops in February and March 2004. Revisions were made to reflect comments from participants and a further series of workshops were delivered in April, May and June of 2005. The revised manual is contained in the following ACROBAT PDF file:
